In this race for the coveted release date, 'Pushpa 2' took an early stand by announcing its arrival on 15th August. Riding high on the success of 'Pushpa 1,' expectations for the sequel are soaring, and director Sukumar is leaving no stone unturned to meet these expectations. While the team asserts the film's firm release on 15th August, doubts linger, given the substantial remaining shooting.

With 'Devara' moving away from its initial release date on 5th April, speculations arise that it might aim for 15th August. This film, the first part of the story directed by Koratala Siva, generated significant hype with its glimpse, making the Independence Day slot seem perfect. However, the makers await updates from Allu Arjun's film before finalizing their decision.
