Ravi Teja gets a surprise in Assam and Bengal. While filming for his upcoming movie 'Eagle,' Ravi Teja was pleasantly surprised to discover a devoted fan following in unexpected places such as Assam and Darjeeling.
Reflecting on this unexpected reception, he shared in a video interview, "Upon arriving at Calcutta airport, I was greeted by a sizable and enthusiastic crowd. Initially, I thought it might be for someone else, but to my delight, I realized they were there for me—a truly heartwarming surprise." He continued, "Shooting in Darjeeling was another memorable experience as many locals flocked to my sets, expressing their love. Learning that they regularly watch my films on TV and even recall monikers like 'Mass Maharaja' left me on cloud nine."
Ravi Teja acknowledges that he is counting on 'Eagle' to revive his winning streak, especially considering the underwhelming performance of his recent films like 'Ravanasura' and 'Tiger Nageshwara Rao' at the box office. Banking on a blend of dark comedy and action drama, he aims to steer his career back on course. Additionally, Ravi Teja is involved in the Telugu remake of the Hindi film 'Raid,' titled "Mr. Bachchan," with hopes of creating box office magic once again.
However, with a new generation of heroes emerging, Ravi Teja recognizes the need to consistently deliver successful films. The decline in Hindi dubbing rates for his movies and lukewarm theatrical figures underscore the importance of producing compelling content to stay relevant in the industry.
