Nora Fatehi exposes a Brand. After notable celebrities like Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Kajol, it appears that Nora Fatehi is the latest victim of a potential deepfake video or an impersonator. A circulating video features a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Nora, enthusiastically endorsing an end-of-season sale on social media.
Expressing concern and setting the record straight, Nora took to her Instagram Stories to debunk the video. She shared the imitating clip along with a caption emphasizing that the woman showcased in the video is not her. In bold letters, Nora labeled the video as 'fake,' aiming to dispel any confusion. As of now, the brand involved has not responded to Nora's claims.
This incident follows closely on the heels of a similar case involving Delhi Police arresting a student named Eemani Naveen from Andhra Pradesh. Naveen had created a deepfake video of Rashmika, intending to boost followers on his fan page.
The police took action after an FIR was filed on November 10 last year when the video gained widespread attention. Despite Naveen deleting the video from his devices and account, the police successfully traced its origin back to him.
