Much Awaited Salaar 2 Will Hit The Screens In 2025

Rebel Star Prabhas's latest outing Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire has been drawing terrific collections in its second week too. The film has amassed Rs 600+ Crores so far and is still having a one week free run at the box office. Even though the film is not on par with KGF films, Director Prashanth Neel managed to elevate Prabhas like never before in recent time and made the film worked well with the fans ,masses and audiences.  

The fans of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are in for a treat as the producer of Salaar, Vijay Kiragandur, has spilled the beans on the much-awaited sequel of the blockbuster action film. The film, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, is a story of two friends who become enemies in a mythical city called Khansaar. 

In an interview, he revealed that Salaar Part 2 will hit the screens by the end of 2025 and will be a grand spectacle of drama, politics and action. “Salaar Part 1 was just a glimpse of what is to come. Part 2 will have a lot more twists and turns and will showcase the true power of Salaar.Both Prabhas and Prashanth Neel are interested in starting part 2 very soon. The story is ready. Despite a few negative comments, no one complained about the making and scale in part 1." he said.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, which released on December 22, 2023, was a massive success at the box office, despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics. Salaar, which is produced by Hombale Films, is a pan-Indian film that stars Prabhas as Deva, a rebel leader who fights against a tyrannical regime. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the role of Varadharaja Mannar, a ruthless warlord.
