This winter, Tollywood celebrities are facing the heat of social media. After Ramajogayya Sastry who deactivated his X (formerly known as Twitter) account after facing severe trolling from fans for his latest song penned for Guntur Kaaram, producer Naga Vamsi also faced the severe comments over the song. Naga Vamsi who is known to speak openly retorted by posting a clip from Animal as his response to trolling. However he even deleted it after facing criticism over it.

Now, another director came under the scanner. It is director Venkatesh Maha who shot to fame with his impeccable work for 'Care Of Kancharapalem' film. He won numerous accolades for his first film and is considered as one of the promising young directors. He then directed SatyaDev starrer 'Umamaheswaraya Ugra Roopasya' which is a remake of a Malayalam film, 'Maheshinte Prathikaram' headline by Fahadh Faasil. His second film which is a direct to OTT release too fetched good reviews.

Venkatesh Maha stuck into controversy after his round table interview with other directors for a YouTube channel. During the discussion , Venkatesh Maha made some comments about KGF in a derogatory tone which didn't went well with many movie lovers. This resulted in commenting and trolling him on social media. After a while Maha issues apology but cleared that he stands with his comments. Venkatesh Maha even called that he will report those who cross the line in the name of trolling and proceed legally against them.

Again, yesterday after Salaar Ceasefire release trailer was released, Venkatesh Maha posted a screen shot of his ticket for Shahrukh Khan's Dunki and writes he can't wait to watch his favourite star's film on its first day. As there is severe fan war is going on between fans about Salaar vs Dunki, Venkatesh Maha's tweet caught amidst the crossfire. Many claimed that he purposefully posted that tweet in support of Dunki indirectly belittling Salaar. Many reported his account. Whatever the reasons might be, he has deactivated his X account.
