Dhanush Completed Filming His Second Directorial

Dhanush is busy these days working on his second directorial and his 50th film as actor, tentatively titled D50. The film has been wrapped up. Dhanush recently took to social media to announced that shooting has been wrapped up.

He writes on X, "My sincere thanks to the entire crew and cast. Also a big thanks to Kalanithi Maran sir and Sun Pictures for supporting my vision." Sun Pictures is bankrolling the film.

In D50, Dhanush will be playing the lead role. However, the makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast. Reports suggest that SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, and Sundeep Kishan will be playing prominent roles in the film.

Dhanush made his directorial debut with Pa Paandi in 2017, which starred Rajkiran, Revathi, along with himself in a cameo role. His next release will be Captain Miller which is directed by Aruna Matheswaran confirmed for Sankranthi release.
