Regina Cassandra: Charming Actress With Magnetic Smile

Regina Cassandra, the absolute charmer with her looks as well as with her performances is celebrating her birthday today. Her glamorous avatar in movies as well as photoshoots mesmerises the audiences. Apart from being a captivating beauty, Regina is equally impressive with her scintillating act on screen. Though she made her debut in Tamil and later moved to Kannada, Regina became quite popular in Tollywood.

Cassandra made her film debut with the Tamil film Kanda Naal Mudhal in 2005 with Karthik Kumar. Then in 2006, she made her debut into Kannada films with Suryakaanti. Cassandra made her Telugu debut with Shiva Manasulo Shruti opposite Sudheer Babu in 2010. The same year she did Routine Love Story with Sandeep Kishan. After doing a couple of Tamil films, she is back to Telugu in 2014. 

Regina had four releases in Tollywood during 2014. She was seen with Allu Sirish in Kottha Janta, Sundeep Kishan with Ra Ra Krishnayya, Ravi Teja with Power and Sai Dharam Tej with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. Among these four releases, three became box office successes earning Regina fame and name. 

Regina received praises for her portrayal as a traditional girl in Subramanyam for Sale, a dental student in Jyo Achyutananda, a youngster in Maanagaram and a drug addict in Awe. Regina received SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for her portrayal of an evil businesswoman in Evaru. Regina first made her Hindi film debut with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga opposite Sonam Kapoor. She played an unconventional role of a lesbian in the film. She made her web debut with Rocket Boys. After seen in several web series, she won fame in OTT space too with superhit series Farzi.
