Top celebrities invited for Ram Mandir consecration in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are set to grace the auspicious occasion of the pran pratishtha, or consecration, of the idol of Ram Lalla at the temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has extended invitations to nearly 8,000 dignitaries, including prominent industrialists such as Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, and Ratan Tata. Renowned figures from the entertainment industry, including Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, as well as cricketing legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, are also among the esteemed invitees.

In a gesture of gratitude, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has extended invitations to journalists who played a pivotal role in supporting the realization of the Ram temple. Notable media personalities such as Sudhir Choudhary, Rajat Sharma, Arnab Goswami, Shweta Singh, Dainik Bhaskar MD Sudhir Agarwal, Jagran Prakashan CEO Sanjay Gupta, and non-executive chairman Mahendra Mohan Gupta have been formally invited to attend the event.

A VHP spokesperson emphasized the significance of journalists' support throughout the temple's journey, acknowledging their integral role in the realization of the Ram Mandir.Invitations have been sent through traditional post and modern platforms like WhatsApp to saints, priests, shankaracharyas, religious leaders, and VVIPs, including former civil servants, retired Army officers, lawyers, scientists, poets, musicians, as well as Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan recipients.

Of the 8,000 invitees, a majority, around 6,000, will be religious leaders from across the country, while the remaining 2,000 will be VVIPs representing various spheres of society, according to a senior VHP functionary.To facilitate a seamless entry process, a link will be shared with the invitees in the days leading up to the ceremony. Upon registration using the provided link, a unique bar code will be generated, serving as their entry pass.

The ceremony will also honor the families of approximately 50 karsevaks who lost their lives in two separate incidents of police firing in 1990. The VHP, tasked with inviting these families, will also ensure their accommodation and provide food during the event. This gesture pays homage to the sacrifice made by the karsevaks, underscoring their integral role in the journey toward the temple's construction. The families will be accommodated in the three tent cities erected by the trust, with numerous open kitchen facilities available for their convenience.
