Rajinikanth Muthu Is Ready For A Re-release On This Month

Indian Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Muthu had created box office records during its release in 1995. Co-starring Meena as the female lead, the film's music was composed by AR Rahman.

Directed by K. S. Ravikumar, the film also has Sarath Babu, Radha Ravi, Senthil, Vadivelu, Jayabharathi, Subhashri and Ponnambalam in supporting roles. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the iconic film is gearing up for a re-release in theatres. An official announcement regarding the same with an upgraded poster is out this evening that the film will be re-releasing on December 2nd. It is widely known that December happens to be Rajinikanth's birthday month and iconic Muthu re-releasing during this month comes as double treat for the fans and moviegoers.

Produced by Kavithalayaa Productions, the film is a remake of Malayalam film Thenmavin Kombath which had a release in 1994. Muthu story revolves around a zamindar and his worker falling in love with the same woman who, unknown to the zamindar, loves the worker exclusively.

The songs composed by AR Rahman are a massive hit among the music lovers. The film opened market for Indian films in territories like Japan, Singapore and Malaysia making Rajinikanth undisputed king among contemporary stars.
