Lokesh Kanagaraj unravels LCU secrets. Lokesh Kanagaraj, the acclaimed director, is taking his customary hiatus from social media in preparation for his upcoming film. However, before retreating from the public eye, he engaged in extensive discussions with media outlets, shedding light on his future projects and the fate of his much-anticipated shared cinematic universe, also known as LCU. In a recent conversation with a YouTube channel, Lokesh revealed his plans.

He disclosed that LCU would feature an array of new characters who would replace the old ones. "The immediate entry into LCU will be 'Kaithi 2.' It will follow closely after 'Thalaivar 171.' Subsequently, we'll need to deliberate between 'Rolex' and 'Vikram 2,'" he stated.

Lokesh made it clear that 'Thalaivar 171' would not be integrated into LCU but would stand as an independent film. He added, "I've already outlined the structure for 'Kaithi 2.' Now, I need to flesh out the entire script. Since it's my home turf, I must deliver what the audience expects from me."

When questioned about the characters within LCU, the director explained, "There will be a host of new characters. With each new installment, fresh characters will step in. For instance, Sethu (Vijay Sethupathi) is no longer part of it. So, someone else will take over the distribution. Similarly, new characters will emerge to fill the shoes of the departed ones."

With Leo's inclusion in LCU, the star power of the cinematic universe has reached staggering heights, featuring luminaries like Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Suriya, Karthi, and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. The anticipation surrounding the unfolding storyline is palpable, and given the extensive lineup of films, it's likely to be at least a three-year wait before we witness the grand culmination of LCU, akin to an 'End Game.'
