Ravi Teja's next Eagle which is a spy action thriller is scheduled to release for Sankranthi, next year. The highly anticipated actioner is all set to hit the silver screens on January 13th, 2024. Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Gattamneni. 'Eagle' marks the second collaboration of Ravi Teja with People Media Factory production house after the blockbuster hit 'Dhamaka’.
Ravi Teja's recent release Tiger Nageswara Rao was opened in theatres amidst huge hype but the film failed to cash in the buzz and emerge as a boxoffice success inspite of having decent content. The mail reason behind this shortcoming is pitching the film in tough competition with Leo and Bhagavanth Kesari. Comments have been heard that Tiger Nageswara Rao would have become a success if it had a solo release.
Clarification About Eagle Postponement
After these reports, news about Eagle has been buzzing the internet since morning. Eagle which is slated for Sankranthi Release along with Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, Naa Saami Ranga, Hanu-Man is rumoured to be postponed from Sankranthi after bitter experience of Tiger Nageswara Rao. The film is said to be released for republic day, 26th January which also coincides with Ravi Teja's birthday.
Makers of 'Eagle' quickly spring into action and announced that there is no change in the release date for Eagle. They reconfirmed that the film will be releasing on 13th January as per announcement. This has cleared the air. With all films confirming their release dates for Sankranthi, it turns out to be an interesting fight at the boxoffice. Eagle stars Anupama Parameswaran as the leading lady, with Kavya Thapar portraying the other female lead. Navdeep and Madhubala also feature in significant roles.
