Their latest collaborative effort, "Rambaan," comes with an exciting twist - actor-writer Chemban Vinod Jose takes the reins as the writer, adding a fresh dimension to their partnership.

The title reveal of "Rambaan" presents an intriguing concept art, featuring Mohanlal. He stands atop a luxurious car, set against an abstract backdrop of towering buildings and intricate roads. In his right hand, he wields a substantial sledgehammer, while firmly gripping an assault rifle with his left. All the while, he retains his iconic Veshti look, a style beloved and iconic to his fans.

Rumors of a potential collaboration between Mohanlal and Joshiy have been circulating since the director's return in 2019 with "Porinju Mariam Jose." There were also reports of Chemban Vinod Jose crafting a story for Joshiy, but it wasn't until recently that the project was confirmed as a Mohanlal starrer.

"Rambaan" is a joint production effort, spearheaded by Chemban Vinod Jose, Einstin Zac Paul, and Shailesh R Singh. The film's visuals will be expertly captured by the acclaimed cinematographer Sameer Thahir, known for his work in "Minnal Murali," while the editing will be skillfully handled by Vivek Harshan, the editor behind "Mahaan."

Adding to the film's allure, the music for "Rambaan" will be composed by Vishnu Vijay, renowned for his hit soundtrack in the Tovion Thomas film "Thallumaala." Fans can eagerly anticipate the release of this Mohanlal-Joshiy collaboration in 2025, aligning with the festive seasons of Vishu and Easter.

Mohanlal, a true stalwart of the industry, has been making notable contributions to cinema. He recently made a cameo appearance in this year's blockbuster "Jailer," sharing the screen with icons like Rajinikanth and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar.
