Ravi Teja's Pan India film Tiger Nageswara Rao which was released on October 20 all-over received mixed reviews. The major complaint for the film is its lengthy runtime. Though the film rides high on emotions and mounted on huge scale, the lengthy duration turned out to be a road block for the film. To prevent further damage, makers decided to reduce the run-time.

Makers chopped 25 minutes of duration and now the film runtime stands at 2 Hours 37 Minutes. The film has been locked with a run-time of 3 hours 2 minutes before it's release. Censor copy and final locked copy is of same duration. But, just before the release, close industry people who watched the film suggested to trim the film.

This makes the makers of Tiger Nageswara Rao to go with a runtime of around 2 Hours 52 minutes. The Indian version was changed to 172 minutes while the Hindi version remains 182 minutes. Now, with the latest decision the duration has been reduced to 157 minutes.

So the film got chopped off 25 minutes of runtime from the final copy. This is surely a huge wastage in terms of money and efforts. Another issue is it will send negative vibes to audiences whenever the film is trimmed and is officially announced by makers. This makes them look indirectly agreeing to their mistake of bad editing. Let's, see whether Tiger Nageswara Rao gets benifit with this new decision.
