The official announcement graced the Academy's Instagram page with the caption, “Presenting the Academy's illustrious cohort of new actors.” Jr. NTR’s inclusion is a well-earned accolade, recognizing his exceptional performance in the highly anticipated film, "RRR."

The caption further proclaims, “The Academy is thrilled to welcome N.T. Rama Rao Jr., among other notable Hollywood actors like Huy Quan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Kerry Condon, and Rosa Salazar to the Actors Branch.”

It's no surprise that Jr. NTR’s fans were thrilled to witness his name on this prestigious list, and with the upcoming release of "Devara" in 2024, their enthusiasm is set to reach new heights.It's worth emphasizing that Jr. NTR's previous movie, "RRR," received critical acclaim, securing two awards: Best Foreign Language Film and Best Original Song for “Naatu Naatu.” Impressively, “Naatu Naatu” also claimed the title of Best Song at the 80th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles and garnered four significant accolades at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards, including an Oscar-winning accolade for “Naatu Naatu.”
