This exciting Formula 4 Championship event is scheduled to run alongside the Indian Racing League (IRL) in Hyderabad later this year. Naga Chaitanya expressed his enthusiasm for this new venture, stating, "Being a part of motorsport has always been something I have looked forward to doing. In its debut season last year, the street circuit race garnered substantial public attention. Blackbirds' drivers Akhil Rabindra and Neel Jani achieved first and second place in the Drivers' Championship, respectively. The Blackbirds also secured the second position in the overall Teams' Championship.

The Formula 4 Indian Championship is FIA-certified and aims to promote young Indian drivers.
