Telugu Desam Party MLA from Kodangal constituency in Mahabubnagar district in Telangana region Revanth Reddy on Thursday described Seemandhra leaders as ‘more dangerous than the terrorists from Pakistan. The MLA also reignited the fire which had been seemingly doused by the sane advise of former chief minister K Rosaiah earlier in the day by saying that the Telangana leaders would beat those who obstruct the formation of Telangana ‘black and blue’.
He was reacting to the comments by Seemandhra leader from his own party Payyavula Keshav’s statement calling for suicide attacks on Telangana leaders to keep the state integrated. Talking to media persons at Assembly Media point, Mr Revanth Reddy condemned the provocative statements of Mr Keshav and advised him not to test the patience of Telangana leaders.
Warning his party colleague of serious consequences, the Kondangal MLA said the Telangana leaders would also resort to violence, if the situation demands. Stating that there would not be too much of a problem in ‘kicking out Seemandhra leaders,’ the MLA claimed that the people of the region chased away the Raaakars from Telangana during Nizams’ rule.
“It is impossible for Seemandhra leaders to live in Telangana if our leaders lose their patience and resort to violence,” he warned. The Kodangal MLA also condemned Minister TG Venkatesh’s statement of forming separate army for protecting Seemandhra people. “These types of statements would provoke the Telangana people and they would lose patience. The Telangana people too know how to use guns,” Mr Revanth Reddy said.
