Macho Star Gopichand who is reeling under string of flops is coming to entertain with his next Viswam. The film is directed by Sreenu Vaitla to is eyeing a comeback. Let us see whether Gopichand hit gold with Viswam at three box office.

Sreenu Vaitla's Viswam Movie: Story Review

Viswam story is all about a youngster who goes all out to protect the life of his near and dear ones. The life of a small girl Darshana is threatened when he happens to witness a high profile murder. However an anonymous person Gopi( (Gopichand) comes into their life and where this leads to form the rest of the narration.

What is the connection to Gopi with the little kid and what role Samira ( Kavya Thapar), Karthik( Sham), Qureshi ( Jisshu Sengupta), Mango Shyam( Naresh), Kasturi( Pragathi), Bachiraju( Sunil), Jaali ( 30yrs Pruthvi), Seethaaramaraaju( Suman), Deekshitulu ( Rahul Ramakrishna), Suresh Gopi ( Vennela Kishore) played form rest of the narration.

Gopichand's Viswam Movie: Artists Review

Gopichand played the role effortlessly. He looked macho on screen and performed in his imitable style. The role is a cake walk and tailor made for me. He performed stunts with ease. However, the role is routine and he didn't get much to try something new out of it.

Kavya Thapar played the regular glamour doll role. She oozed with glamor and offered beauty feast on screen and nothing else. She couldn't show minimal expressions to make an impression.

There are numerous comedians and character artists in the film and they passed through the motions. Naresh, Sunil, Pragathi, VTV Ganesh, Vennela Kishore, Srikanth Iyengar, Rahul Ramakrishna, Pruthvi, Raghu Karumanchi, Chammak Chandra tried to entertain with their comedy. Among them 30yrs Pruthvi and Vennela Kishore managed to entertain in some scenes. Jisshu Sengupta got a typical role and didn't get the much elevation.

Viswam (2024) Movie: Technicians Review

Viswam story readied by Sreenu Vaitla is an action entertainer blended with comedy elements. He followed the same familiar template with which her scored many blockbusters earlier. Ironically, he failed to realise that he tasted flops of late with the same repetitions.

The narration, scenes and the entire story reminds people of earlier films. However, Gopichand's screen presence to some extent and Pruthvi and Vennela Kishore's comedy at times saved the film. He passed the entire first half with few Comedy and action elements and the romantic track turned routine. The interval block generates little interest though predictable.

The second half turns once again monotonous. He tried to recreate the train comedy magic with which her had even scores. But this time he failed once again with cringe scenes passing the time. The pre climax and climax dragged before it ends on a predictable plot bringing relief to all the viewers.

Chaitan Bharadwaj came up with foottapping mass tunes and the songs are shot in a colourful manner in the backdrop of extravagant sets. His background music is in sync with the storyline. The editing of Amar Reddy Kadumula left a lot to be desired. There are many routine scenes that dragged the narration testing the patience of the viewers. The cinematography of KV. Guhan is good. Production values are fine.

Viswam Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Viswam turns out to be an outdated commercial action potboiler. Gopichand performed well with dedication and sincerity but Sreenu Vaitla came up with a stale and outdated story. Considering all these points, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Viswam.
