Behind the Movie Gentlemen: Posani Krishna Murali, the man with strong pen and open attitude has proved his mettle more than once in Tollywood. May it be “Operation Duryodhana” or “Mental Krishna” or even “Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu,” he is the one and he is the only one. The next part of this movie “Gentlemen” is Aarthi Agarwal, who is away from camera after her marriage and she is back here joining hands with Posani Krishna Murali. More than all these, the story and publicity of this “Gentlemen” has raised expectations on the movie, that too during this lean period of bandhs and agitations…Posani Gentlemen was the only movie left for movie goers to chill.
In the Movie Gentlemen: Muddu Krishna (Posani) is a team lead in a software company who is not only cheater, loafer, liar but also a cunning employee when it comes to trapping girls. Muddu Krishna’s wife Krishnaveni (Aarthi Agarwal) is innocent, caring and lovely wife who believes her husband as a perfect Gentleman. Muddu Krishna, traps one of his foreign client’s employee who arrives in India and she is Lussi (Lussi). She is not just the simple secret girl friend of Muddu Krishna, she serves everything for him hot and sweet.
Our hero is continuously engaged in romancing with girls and his aim is not to become a Bill Gates, but to enjoy the maximum beauties in society. Muddu Krishna traps beautiful employees in his office with his cunning methods. Obviously, a man of this character has nothing to prove before his wife, except cheating her.
Surekha (Surekhavani), the best friend of Krishnaveni comes into confrontation to prove that men are never the same what they are before their wives. In order to prove that, same principle applies even for Muddu Krishna both these friends create an imaginary character Ruchi who is none other than Krishnaveni herself and try to explore out the hidden Chilipi Krishna in Muddu Krishna. They succeed and Muddu Krishna’s real character is now open before Krishnaveni who even succeeds to provide sexual enjoyment for him, with his eyes closed with a black ribbon. (Not to make him aware that Ruchi is none other than Krishnaveni). What happened to Muddu Krishna later? Did he win back his love from his wife? If so, then how? What is the punishment that Lussi offered to Muddu Krishna? Form the interesting climax.
Values of the Movie Gentlemen: Posani Krishna Murali’s strong fort is his story line, narration and script work. Same applies here for Gentlemen. Although this is a simple subject, but the way how it gets treated by Posani is different. Many may individually agree with the points which Posani has touched in this movie, but never come out to agree and accept them when it comes from the total society point of view. As Posani says 100 out of 100 husbands love their wives, be caring, be decent and be Sri Ramachandra’s. The same husbands are never the same Sri Ramachandra’s when you peep into their real life style and their real tastes. Infact, they are real Chilipi Krishna’s who always try to trap the girls, even it may be your close friend’s sister.
Posani as Muddu Krishna dances, laughs, gigs, romances, irritates, shouts, sings…what not he has done his best to prove that, there is even an actor inside him. Aarthi Agarwal, as a cheated wife is best fit for the role. Aarthi still retains the same charm and that glam look which she left behind long ago before her marriage. Lussi is used maximum for hot and spicy love making scenes and no comments about the hot sex scenes composed by Posani for himself in a special song. Surekhavani looked sexy and hot trying to transform her career path. Remaining star cast like MS Narayana, Naga Babu, Jatin do not have much significance.
Out of the Movie Gentlemen: First half of the movie may be liked by family ladies because of Aarthi Agarwal. In second half, Posani gets maximum share of entertainment either it may be trapping beautiful employee of his office for sexual pleasure or it may be hot love making scenes with Lussi and Ruchi. Pulse of mass audience with loud whistles are clearly heard during these hot scenes. Never the less, when it comes to message point of view Posani strikes it hard over the faces of audience. Who ever agrees the fact of this movie is a Gentleman and who don’t accept it with open mind is a Mentalman.
Cinejosh Verdict of the Movie Gentlemen: Posani’s gentle mark movie, very much open, clear and loud with message. It is left up to you whether to accept it or not.
