Behind the Movie Ee Varsham Sakshiga: Hero Varun Sandesh is deep trapped in flops and needs a strong hit to make a comeback. He teamed with Hari Priya for this film under the direction of Ramana Mogili. Let us see, how far Varun’s efforts worked here?
In the Movie Ee Varsham Sakshiga: Jai (Varun Sandesh) is a happy living guy with a team of friends (Dhanraj, Venu, Chandra etc). Jai has a dream to experience the joy of love but he is continuously disappointed with wrong choices of his friends. During a trip to Rajahmundry, Jai meets Maha Lakshmi (Hari Priya) on train and they develop a good bond. At a time when Jai wants to express his love, Maha Lakshmi gets engaged to another person. Twist is Maha Lakshmi elopes with the same groom on exact day of wedding. In turn, Maha also calls Jai for a big favor which changes the life of both. What is that big favor? When did Jai and Maha realize their love for each other?
Values & Out of the Movie Ee Varsham Sakshiga: Right from direction, story, screenplay to performances from leads, everything is feeble. Ramana Gogili’s inexperience in handling the delicate romance was visible throughout. Screenplay was rotten and so is the direction. Scenes are weaved so loosely that audiences are made to suffer with non-stop head aching moments all along the length. Comedy added in the name of Jabardasth Team members is awful. Not even a single scene is worth to appreciate. Anil Gopi Reddy’s music was sounding good despite with pale lyrics. Dialogues are complete disappointment. During the crucial episodes, writing strength further deteriorated. Cinematography and Editing were also of lowest standards. Production values of Subba Reddy and Rahuul Movie Makers are also just average.
Performance wise, Varun Sandesh was looking handsome here and there. This role is one more addition to the wrong selection of Varun. As an artist, he is becoming cheap in the eyes of audience with each film. Hari Priya was beautiful in few of the costumes. Her role lacks in spine to support this love story. Apparently, chemistry between Hari and Varun helped the cinema to an extent. Kasi Vishwanath, Hema were irritating like the comedy villainy track of Jeeva. Lastly, Jabardasth team got lengthy portions which did not ripe on screen. So called twists and turns are quite predictable.
‘Ee Varsham Sakshiga’ is a routine and stale product which may not entertain any section of public. Nether there was stuff in story nor was a strength in screenplay. From scene 1 till the end, this is non-stop agony. If first half was filled with establishment of characterizations of hero, heroine filled with fun from comedians, second half is sluggish brimmed with unnecessary, illogical episodes dealt with tones of carelessness.
Overall, ‘EVS’ would worsen the career of Varun Sandesh. It’s time for him to bring those ‘Happy Days’ back. Until and unless, Varun gets a breakthrough… he is hard to survive. Wish him better luck.
