Locations are apt for the remake just like in the original but however, but the film just like any other remake suffered from the connectivity problem. In his quest to bring in Telugu nativity, he added many artificial scenes and robbed the film's original natural flavor.
The entire first half for more than an hour is spent in establishing the characters and justifying them and the director did not try to elevate the scenes with powerful emotions. But into the second half, viewers are taken into an emotional ride. The story with little changes turned out to be very thin but the director Shourie Chandrasekhar made up for it with his screenplay generating interest among the viewers. Little twists in the story create interest but however as viewers have seen such plots earlier, they did not get too excited. His direction is ok to some extent.
