Pawan Kumar who played the lead role put in lot of effort to impress viewers. It gets time for the viewers to get adjusted to his looks on the screen, but once people get used, they find that he came up with realistic and natural expressions and emoted well according to the situation. His screen presence and body language is quite good. He is at ease in the romantic scenes, dances and stunts.
Sneha Malviya played the rich and beautiful girl role to perfection. She showed the right kind of body language and attitude elevating the role of the rich girl. Sahiba Bhasin played the role of Anu, who is not only supportive but also a go getter quite convincingly. Both Sneha and Sahiba indulged in intense glamor treat and infact competed with each other to woo the viewers with their redhot looks.
Rajeev Kanakala and Jhansi played the roles of the parents quite convincingly though at times one get a feeling that they went overboard. Others performed according to their roles.
Average Student Nani student penned by Pawan Kumar, is a youthful entertainer with a message. He came to send good message to the society that parents forcing their children will not take them anywhere and money is not everything and morals are important. Though the idea is good and intent is there, the film except for few interesting scenes the movie fails to generate interest and is filled with complete masala.
The story turned out to be predictable and slow pace did not help the cause. To the top of it, though director Pawan had good intent of sending message, he got carried away with the commercial elements. He included many commercial elements like fights and showed extreme skin show in the film which deviated the film's plot completely. creenplay and direction is ok.
Karthik B Korakandla's background music is ok. Couple of songs he tuned are melodious and are beautifully shot. Cinematography of Sajeesh Rajendran is good. He turned the visuals colorful. Editing of Uddhav SB is ok but could have been better as there are few drags in the film. Dialogues at times are good and production values are decent.
Altogether, Average Student Nani is a youthful romantic entertainer. Especially targeting the youth audience, this film has all the right vibes. The whole movie came out glamorously with bold content. Pawan Kumar, who not only starred in the lead role but also directed the film came up with an average output. Story turned out to be predictable, while screenplay and direction takes on fully commercial path. A little fine-tuning of the script and intense screenplay would have added more value to it. Considering all these points, Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for Average Student Nani.
