Manoj Palleti's Veekshanam: Technicians Review

Veekshanam story penned by Manoj Palleti is a crime thriller."Veekshanam" starts with a promising premise, blending a youthful romance with crime elements. However, the director prioritizes comedy and romance in the first half, delaying the core plot and leaving viewers waiting. Interest spikes only at the interval, raising hopes for a thrilling second half.

While the first half relies heavily on stale humor, the second half attempts a more serious tone. Despite efforts to inject racy elements, the predictability of the plot ultimately hinders the film's impact. The director's focus on commercial elements and uninspired comedy in the first half detracts from the core story, ultimately undermining the film's potential.

The film suffers from a flat narration, a simple screenplay, and uninspired direction. Jeswin Prabhu's editing fails to address the pacing issues, leaving drags in both halves. Samarth Gollapudi's music, while passable, becomes a speed breaker, with the songs failing to engage. The background score is inconsistent, ranging from decent to below average. Sairam Uday's cinematography complements the storyline, and production values are commendable.

Altogether, Veekshanam turns out to be a silly illogical thriller. Despite Ram Karthik's dedicated performance and director Manoj Palleti's ambition to deliver a thrilling experience, "Veekshanam" falls short due to its predictable and outdated narrative. The film's grand plans are ultimately undermined by a lack of originality, resulting in a disappointing viewing experience.
