V. N. Aditya who is known for films like Mansantha Nuvve is coming with a romantic flick Valliddari Madhya. The film starring Neha Krishna and Viraj Ashwin is streaming on Aha on December 16, 2022. Let us find out what Valliddari Madhya offered to movie lovers.
Valliddari Madhya story is all about the romantic journey of a young couple and how their alter egos impact their relation. Varun (Viraj Ashwin) starts a website Anvaya to help the parents of NRIs who live lonely in the country. While helping a lonely elderly couple, he comes across a beautiful girl, coincidentally named Anvaya (Neha Krishna). Where their relation leads to, how Professor Buchchi Babu (Srikanth Iyengar) and others are connected to their journey form the rest of the story.
Valliddari Madhya story penned by VN.Aditya is outdated and done and dusted a long time back. Though he starts the narration in an interesting way showing the hero's intentions to help the NRI parents, from then on, everything turns out to be routine. The blossoming of romance between hero and heroine after the heroine's breakup, the way the hero tries to impress the heroine looks extremely silly. The first half ends in a routine way after testing the patience of the viewers with the introduction of alter egos and the highlighting of LOMA (Lopali Manishi).
While many expect the second half to be a little better, it turns out to be bad to worse and ends up giving immense torture to the movie lovers. All the talk of alter ego, Loma makes one go into a coma. The way the hero's anvaya website is praised reminds one of many commercials promoting their websites which appear on the small screen. Satyanand's screenplay looked routine and feels that he was 20-30 years behind the tastes of the current generation.
Viraj Ashwin is ok in his role as a youngster who shows concern for the parents of the NRIs who lead a lonely life. He however should improve his expressions. He did stunts and danced well in some scenes. He showed youthful exuberance to perform in his role. Neha Krishna at times looked beautiful. She performed the young girl who suffers a breakup with ease. The chemistry between Viraj Ashwin and Neha Krishna is good. Srikanth Iyengar performed the role of the professor easily. Others like Bindu Chandramouli, Jayasri Rachakonda, Venkat Siddareddy, Sai Srinivas Vadlamani, Srikanth Aiyengar, Krishna Kanth, Rama Krishna, Bhargav performed according to their roles.
Kolanchi Rakesh's cinematography is good. Dharmendra Kakarala's editing left a lot to be desired. There are many drags that slowed the pace of the film. The music of Madhu Sravanthi is fine and a couple of songs are well shot. Background music is ok. Production values are average.
Altogether, The teaming of renowned players Satyanand and VN. Aditya for Valliddari Madhya generated interest among movie lovers. People expected a feel-good and touching romantic entertainer. But the duo for all the experience ended up dishing out an outdated serial-type entertainer disappointing everyone. The story, screenplay, and direction offered nothing new and even the 80s serials would have been a better watching. Finally watching Valliddari Madhya is a waste of time. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 1 rating for Valliddari Madhya.
