Pranaya Godari is all about a a boy and a girl from different backdrops and lifestyles falling in love and then wading through the difficult consequences.
Mahalakshmi(Priyanka Prasad) who gets mysterious dreams will decide to go to a temple in Pattiseema along with her boss son ( Sadan Haasan).
Where their temple visit lead to and how they are connected to influential person Peddha Kapu(Sai Kumar), Srinu ( Sadan Haasan) and Goyya( Priyanaka Prasad) form the interesting part in the rest of the narration.
Sadan Haasan performed his role in a lively and energetic manner.
Priyanka Prasad looked homely and beautiful on screen. She made a commendable debut with her impressive performance.
The chemistry between Sadan Haasan and Priyanka Prasad is good on screen.
Sai Kumar made his presence felt with powerful performance. He delivered dialogues in an impactful manner. His Peda Kapu role is tailor made for him and he carried it with elan.
Others like Prudhvi, Jabardasth Rajamouli, Lab Sharath, Sunil Ravinuthala performed according to their roles.
Pranaya Godari story penned by PL. Vignesh is a romantic entertainer in rural background. The narration starts in a familiar manner but interest is generated with the female getting mysterious dreams. He maintains good command over his craft in sustaining interest with neat screenplay.
Despite some regular elements, the hilarious scenes worked in favour of the film. As the film has a rural backdrop, the entertainment has an A rated flavour with bold scenes and dialogues. Director has managed to keep the film on track with well executed scenes.
Though the story offered nothing new. Director PL Vignesh's screenplay and direction brings 80s flavour with authentic rural characters and scenes. But, lack of powerful villain turned out to be a drawback.
Markandeya Paramalla's music is melodious and couple of songs are shot in a beautiful manner. He enhanced the mood with his background score and is in accordance with the story.
The cinematography of Prasad Edara captured the natural and scenic locations of Godavari in an appealing manner. Choreography by Kaladhar looks apt according to the songs.
Kodaganti Venu's editing left a lot to be desired. Production values are adequate.
Altogether, Pranaya Godari turns out to be a predictable rural romantic entertainer. Director PL. Vignesh managed to entertain movie lovers with a feel good romantic entertainer, loaded the story with entertainment. Lead Pair, Sai Kumar's performances propelled the film to end up as a decent rural entertainer. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.5 rating for Pranaya Godari.
