The fight between Mohan Rao (Jagapathi Babu) and Nagendra Naidu (Sarath Kumar), sons of the most respected and revered person Veera Naidu (Murali Mohan) in Visakhapatnam leads to an intense power struggle. Where this leads to and what is the reason behind the power struggle between Mohan Rao and Nagendra Naidu and how Gopi (Naveen Chandra), Rachana (Akansha Singh), Jenny (Naina Ganguly), Satyam (Rajsekhar Anigi), Bhanumati (Aamani), Suresh (Ishaan) forms the story of Parampara.
Artists, Technicians Review
Murali Mohan performed well in his role. He carried himself well on screen and made an impact. Jagapathi Babu scored good marks with his performance. He came with good expressions and emotions. Sarath Kumar for all the hype in his character failed except for his towering personality. The fault lies with the director as the dubbing voice for his role did not suit him. Naveen Chandra got a good screen presence and he tried hard to show his talent. However, he failed to elevate the scenes to another level.
Ishan did not suit his role while the female characters Naina Ganguly, Akansha Singh did not get much scope to perform. They are just confined to support their husbands in the film. Shritej performed well but he got a very small role. Kasthuri failed to make an impact and looked out of sync with her character.
Krishan Vijay L and Viswanath Arigela tried to attract viewers by highlighting the intense power struggle between various players in Parampara. The story has all the ingredients to increase the interest among the viewers. But the director duo after the interesting start lost the plot with their confusing story, screenplay, and direction. The introduction of numerous characters with each passing second left movie lovers wondering where the story is heading to.
To the top of it, the slow narration in all seven episodes and the nonlinear screenplay made things tough for the film. The characterization of each role left a lot to be desired. Most of the dialogues turned out to be preachy and this puts off viewers. The story for all the hype turned out to be routine and narration turned monotonous. Though the directors had the chance to turn the story into an interesting and thrilling one, they failed completely in their execution.
Vishweswar's cinematography is good. He tried his best to elevate the scenes. Naresh Kumaran did not get the chance and he couldn't feel the scenes to elevate them with his background music. Tammiraju's editing left a lot to be desired. Production values are ok.

Rating Analysis
Parampara with the cast of Jagapathi Babu, Sarath Kumar, Murali Mohan, and Naveen Chandra promised a lot and expectations increased. Directors Krishan Vijay L and Viswanath Arigela increased interest with an interesting start. However, they completely disappointed as the narration progressed with the routine story, uneven screenplay, and direction. Considering all these points, CJ goes with a 1.75 rating for Parampara.
