Ooru Peru Bhairavakona: Technicians Review

The story of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, penned by VI.Anand, is a socio-fantasy entertainer that attempts to showcase Sundeep Kishan in a different genre. VI.Anand, known for his thrillers, starts the narration in an intriguing manner, especially with the introduction of Bhairavakona, which piques curiosity. The introductions of Sundeep and Varsha are also engaging. However, the plot quickly becomes predictable thereafter.

The mention of the Garudapurana and the missing four pages generates excitement, but VI.Anand seems to lose focus as he emphasizes VFX and graphics over emotional depth. The opportunity to delve into the emotions of the people of Bhairavakona and the cause they are fighting for is missed. The second half of the film falls flat as the director lacks conviction in the narration. The performances feel like going through the motions, and despite the effort to highlight the theme of 'love is eternal,' VI.Anand tests the patience of viewers with a routine story, predictable screenplay, and below-average direction.

Sekhar Chandra's songs are situational and enhance the emotional aspects of the film. The background music complements the storyline but could have been more impactful. Raj Thota's cinematography is commendable, capturing the essence of the narrative effectively. Editing by Chota K Prasad is adequate but could have been tighter in the second half. The production values are high, adding to the visual appeal of the film.

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona: Advantages

  • Sundeep Kishan
  • Few Twists

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona: Disadvantages

  • Missing Emotions
  • Unnecessary VFX

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona Movie: Rating Analysis

Overall, "Ooru Peru Bhairavakona" is a predictable thriller that falls short in delivering emotional depth. VI.Anand struggles to establish a strong connection with the characters, which ultimately proves to be the film's biggest drawback. Taking all these aspects into consideration, Cinejosh gives "Ooru Peru Bhairavakona" a rating of 2.
