Can Harsha and Vibha ever live happily by getting married should be found out on screen?

Artists, Technicians Review

Bommarillu Bhaskar after a long gap of seven years finally came with the Most Eligible Bachelor and he planned to show Akhil as a lover boy. The story is predictable and seen in many movies like NRI guy getting attracted to a girl and facing problems in between. However Bhaskar tried to generate fun in various scenes and at times it entertained keeping the viewers engaged. The first half ends on a decent and interesting note and this raised expectations of the narration taking off to another level in the second half.

However, the little monotony which appeared in the first half took centre stage in the second half ending up testing the patients of the viewers. Hilarious scenes disappear and the routine emotions play the spoilsport. The pre-climax and climax end on expected lines with monotonous routine dialogues.

Akhil played the role of a lover boy once again and but his looks surprises all. He looked awkward initially but people get used to it.  In the second half Akhil sported a long beard and this put off many of them. However, Akhil performed well as a confused youngster and emoted and expressed well in difficult scenes.

Pooja Hegde got an important and significant role and she used full use of it. Pooja Hegde made her presence felt and attracted with her expressions and emotions. She indulged in glamor treats and her screen presence beautified the film. Murali Sharma as Pooja Hegde's father performed well. Eesha Rebba sparkled for a second and others like Aamani, Sudigali Sudheer, Vennela Kishore, Jayaprakash, Posani Krishna Murali are ok in their roles. Rahul Ravindran and Chinmayi did their bit in special roles. Others performed accordingly.

Gopi Sunder beautified the film with his melodious tunes. Leharayi song stands out sending romantic vibes in a beautiful manner. His background music elevated the scenes. Pradeesh Varma's cinematography captured the visuals in a beautiful and appealing way. The editing of Marthand Venkatesh could have been better especially in the second half. Production values are good.

Rating Analysis

Bommarillu Bhaskar came with a simple story and he tried to include youthful elements to attract viewers. To some extent, he emerged successful with humor in the first half. But his screenplay and direction lost way in the second half, as he turned preachy with no real solution though climax scenes are loaded with emotions. A little fine-tuning of the script would have done wonders for Most Eligible Bachelor. Considering all these points, CJ goes with a 2.75 rating for Most Eligible Bachelor.
