Legally Veer is releasing on 27 December 2024 and it is appealing to all with unique title. The film stars Mallik Reddy Veerreddy in the lead role and is directed by Ravi Gogula. Let us see what the film offered to movie lovers.
Legally Veer story revolves around a lawyer who takes up the case of a person who was wrongfully accused and when all doors are closed on him. Where this leads to and how the lawyer prove his innocence against all odds form the rest of the narration. Veer (Mallik Reddy Veer Reddy) who returns from US, ends up taking a complicated case of an accused Balaraju for whom doors are closed. Whether he is able to prove his innocence against all odds and how his wife Priya (Priyanka Rewri) is connected form interesting part.
Mallik Veer Reddy played the lead role of the lawyer. However despite his best efforts he failed to make an impression. He ended up irritating the viewers with his expressions and emotions. For most of the time, he put a blank expression, He should hone his skills to attract viewers with his performance. Tanooja Puttuswamy, a popular serial actor impressed with her performance. People who starred in the roles of Balaraju and his wife came up with natural and realistic performances. Priyanka Rewri is fine in her role.
Late Delhi Ganesh brings back memories with his performance in an important role. Leela Samson,Giridhar,Jabardasth Apparao,Dayanand Reddy performed according to heir roles.
Legally Veer story penned by Ravi Gogula is a legal crime thriller and he came up with a honest entertainer. He did not deviate much from the main plot and narrated it in a gripping and interesting manner. The screenplay is good and intense but for all his sincere efforts he too fell prey for the commercial elements.
In between he included action sequences, romantic song and rap song. Had he avoided them, the film would have made an even better impact.
Shankar Tamiri's music turns out to be pretty ordinary. However he emerged successful in elevating the scenes with his background music. :Jackson Johanson,Anush Gorak's cinematography is of high standards and he gave richness to the scenes on the big screen. Editing of SB.Uddhav could have been better as there are unnecessary scenes. Production values are decent.
Altogether, Legally Veer is a decent legal thriller. Director Ravi Gogula penned a good story and came up with an interesting screenplay. But his penchant for few commercial elements and failure to get the optimum and decent performances from the lead actors undid all the good work. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 1.5 rating for Legally Veer.
