Story Review
Assistant Superintendent of Police Vaishali (Aishwarya Lekshmi), quits from her post after failing to save a hostage during one of the operations. But she was forced to take up her job to negotiate with an unknown person named Godse (Satyadev) who holds many bigshots as hostages. To find out whether Vaishali is successful in saving the hostages and what is the motive behind Godse kidnapping the hostages, the connection between Chief Minister (Sijju Menon), former Supreme Court Chief Justice (Tanikella Bharani), Chief Security Officer (Noel Sean), Security Advisor (Mathew Verghese), watch Godse on screen.
Artists, Technicians Review
Satyadev performed well in the role tailor made for him. He slipped into the role effortlessly and as per the story, he had to show only serious expressions. As such he did not get a chance to show variations in his expressions. Aishwarya Lekshmi performed her role quite well. She with her performance elevated the scenes throughout the first half. She showed variations in expressions and emotions as a tough cop, an emotional person with honesty being her core value.
Others got limited screen presence. Sijju Menon is ok in the role of the Chief Minister, Noel Sean as the security officer, Mathew Verghese as the security advisor, Tanikella Bharani, and Naga Babu as the Supreme Court judge and Governor respectively. Priyadarshi performed well in a cameo.
Director Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi tried to t thrill movie lovers by showing Satyadev in a different role. He started off the narration by first introducing Aishwarya Lekshmi in an interesting manner and then introducing Satyadev. As the plot unfolds, interest increases and the first half ends on an interesting note, though routineness crept at times. When many expected the second half to be even racier, Gopi Ganesh ventures into the flashback and tries to highlight the emotions involved in it. This impacted the narration in a big way as the entire second half turned out to be routine testing the patience of the movie lovers. The entire story turned out to be routine and has shades of Balakrishna's Adhinayakudu, Nara Rohit's Pratinidhi, and others. The screenplay is ok to a point but the director lost the plot, once the main twists are revealed. Narration fell flat and the screenplay went for a toss with illogical scenes turning the film into a below-average one.
Suresh Sarangam's cinematography is apt for the film. Suresh Bobbili's music is nothing to rave about but made an impact with his background music. The editing of Sagar Udagandla could have been better especially in the second half. Production values are good.

Rating Analysis
Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi planned to show the power of Satyadev as Godse on screen. Though he started off the narration in an interesting manner, he failed to increase the curiosity levels as he ran out of twists and turns. With an outdated story and routine narration along with the missing logic, Godse tested the patience of the viewers. Considering all these elements, CJ goes with a 2 rating for Godse.
