Bharathanatyam Telugu Film: Artists Review

Surya Teja Aelay's debut performance in Bharathanatyam is commendable, showcasing his dedication and effort in portraying the struggles of a young aspirant in the film industry. He effectively depicts the complexities of balancing personal and professional life, particularly in his interactions with family and girlfriend. His dialogue delivery is notable, and his body language suits the character well. While he has shown promise, there is room for improvement, especially in honing his skills and refining his body language to elevate his performance to the next level.

Meenakshi Goswami, despite limited screen time, delivers her dialogues in a mix of Hindi and broken Telugu, which might not resonate well with all viewers. Her presence is more emphasized in a song sequence, where she adds a touch of glamour.

Supporting actors such as Viva Harsha, Ajay Ghosh, Harshavardhan, Mast Ali, Gangavva, and Krishnudu deliver performances that suit their respective roles. Viva Harsha, Harshavardhan, and Mast Ali, in particular, contribute to the film's lighter moments with their comedic timing and antics.

Overall, Bharathanatyam benefits from a committed cast, with Surya Teja Aelay showing promise for future growth in the industry.

Bharathanatyam Telugu Movie: Technicians Review

Bharathanatyam, conceived by KVR Mahendra of "Dorasani" fame, delves into the struggles of a young man aspiring to become a director. While Mahendra attempts to infuse humor related to the film industry, this focus detracts from other crucial aspects of the story, impacting the film's overall quality.

Surya Teja who impressed as an actor showed his talent as a writer also playing a pivotal role in powering the project. He included many hilarious scenes and situational comedy and this worked out well especially in the second half.

However,The first half leaves the audience puzzled about the direction of the narrative rith lot of in cohesiveness. The second half shows some improvement with a few better-executed scenes with humour and comedy, but ultimately, the film concludes on a predictable note.

The story itself has potential, but the screenplay falls short due to repetitive and uninspired scenes. A more engaging script could have elevated the film significantly. The dialogues, while passable, could have been sharper to enhance the comedic elements. What surprises all is while the film's title is Bharathanatyam, the characters in the story, pronounce it as Bharadhanatyam, confusing and irritating viewers.

On the technical front, Venkat R Sakhamuri's cinematography stands out, presenting scenes in a natural and realistic manner that adds depth to the storytelling. However, Raviteja Girijala's editing leaves much to be desired, with several dragging moments, especially in the first half. Vivek Sagar's music is adequate, and the background score complements the storyline effectively.

In conclusion, while Bharathanatyam has its moments, particularly in the second half, its overall impact is marred by editing. With a stronger focus on script development and more cohesive direction, the film could have reached greater heights.

Bharathanatyam (2024) Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Bharathanatyam turns out to be a routine entertainer. Director KVR Mahendra attempts to inject humor through Surya Teja Aelay's character, but despite the actor's best efforts, the film is let down by some slow narration and illogical scenes. Surya Teja showed sparks with his writing.
