Appudo Ippudo Eppudo (2024): What's Behind :

'Appudo Ippudo Eppudo' directed by Sudheer Varma, is Nikhil Siddhartha's latest romantic drama. This is the third collaboration of Nikhil and Sudheer Varma after Swamy Ra Ra, and Keshava. The film which has been in the making for a long time didn't generate enough buzz. But, the trailer brought some curiosity towards the film. BVSN Prasad produced the film under his SVCC banner. Sandalwood beauty Rukmini Vasanth made her Tollywood debut with this film. Let's get into the review.

Appudo Ippudo Eppudo (2024) Movie: Story Review:

The storyline revolves around Rishi's complicated relationships with Tara (Rukmini Vasanth) and Tulasi (Divyansha Kaushik). However, the narrative is predictable, and the twists are unconvincing. What follows is the film's attempt to blend romance, comedy, and crime.

Rishi is a racer who is trying to get a career in racing staying at London along with his friend Balaji (Viva Harsha). One day he meets his lost love Tara and right when they are getting together closely, his another ex-girlfriend Tulasi. What happens to Tulasi afterwards and how local mafia don Badri Narayan (John Vijay) comes into Rishi's life forms the crux of 'Appudo Ippudo Eppudo'

Nikhil Siddhartha's Appudo Ippudo Eppudo: Artists Review:

Nikhil Siddhartha delivers a competent performance, but his character lacks depth. He looks good on screen but seems clueless at many places mainly due to poor characterisation and script.  Rukmini Vasanth looks beautiful but is underutilized. She didn't get enough importance in the film. Divyansha Kaushik surprises, but her character's impact is limited. The supporting cast, including Viva Harsha, Satya and Sudarshan, is wasted due to weak writing.

Sudheer Varma's Appudo Ippudo Eppudo: Technicians Review:

Sudheer Varma's direction fails to impress, relying on outdated narration and absurd comedic elements. The film's pacing is inconsistent, and the flow of the narrative is confusing. The film starts on an interesting note with a dead body and shifts to a lighter note love story. The film is actually passable during this moment.

But when it shifts to London where the entire film runs it becomes clueless and uninteresting. The twists aren't surprising, writing is lazy without any conviction. Even the music and background score by Karthik disappoints. Editor Naveen Nooli tried his best to chop off many scenes and keep the duration short. With too many flaws, Appudo Ippudo Eppudo is a painful watch.

Appudo Ippudo Eppudo: Advantages:

  • Nikhil Siddhartha
  • Visually appealing cinematography
  • Divyansha Kaushik's performance

Appudo Ippudo Eppudo: Disadvantages:

  • Weak writing
  • Poor direction
  • Outdated storyline
  • Unconvincing twists

Appudo Ippudo Eppudo Movie: Rating Analysis:

Altogether, Appudo Ippudo Eppudo is a disappointing romantic drama that fails to deliver. Sudheer Varma yet again wasted a potential opportunity and fell short of what he is capable of. Despite all resources, he delivered a lackluster product at the end with poor writing and clueless direction. Inspite of Nikhil Siddhartha's sincere performance, the film's weak writing, poor direction and lackluster performances make it a forgettable experience. Cinejosh rates 'Appudo Ippudo Eppudo' a 1.5 out of 5.
