Two persons died of swine flu in Nalgonda and Karimnagar districts according to medical reports received here on Wednesday.
A four-year-old boy hailing from Tipparti village of Nalgonda district died of swine flu while another death case of a youth was also reported from Bonkuru village of Gollapalli mandal in Karminagar district.
Swine flu has been spreading in many parts of the State specially after the onset of mnsoon. Andhra Pradesh continues to be the one of the worst affected states from swine flu during this year.
The Andhra Pradesh government is contemplating to make mandatory conducting of health check-up in all schools as a precaution against the spread of swine flu.
The Health and School Education department will conduct medical camps in all schools shortly. The decision, according to Health Minister D. Nagender, comes in the light of concerns expressed by parents following deaths reported in other cities of the country.
The health departments have sounded alerts in many parts of the State and camps on awareness of swine flu also have been conducted.
