As the holy month of Ramzan begins on Friday, the Andhra Pradesh Government has allowed all the Muslim minority employees working in various government wings to leave their offices an hour early, i.e. at 4 pm daily for the whole month.
A press note released here on Thursday said that all the Muslim employees working in various government wings, including teachers and outsourcing staff members, can leave their offices on all working days an hour before the closing time, 4 pm, in view of the holy Ramzan month – from August 21 till September 20.
However, the note said that such employees need to be present in the offices for any exigencies of work.
