Two more people on Tuesday tested positive for influenza A (H1N1), taking the number of swine flu cases in Andhra Pradesh to 95 and 91 in Hyderabad and four from Visakhapatnam.
According to K Subhakar, coordinator, swine flu nodal centre here, they were admitted to the Government Chest Hospital with swine flu symptoms. Later they were shifted to the Kondapur Hospital for treatment.
The fresh cases include a woman, who came from Sharjah and a person who landed from Dubai.
AP Chest Hospital Superintendent Dr S V Prasad said, "Presently the Hospital is treating five H1N1 confirmed positive cases and around 20 suspected cases." So far the hospital has treated 262 cases including 93 positive cases, Dr Prasad said.
