Unlike the governors in the past who were confined to Raj Bhavan and the state capital of Hyderabad, present governor ESL Narasimhan is keeping himself in touch with the people of the state by moving along with them to know them more.
On Thursday, Narasimhan reached Chittoor for a two-day visit to the district. He visited the Rishivalley education Institution and interacted with children.
Later he reached the Horsely Hills and inaugurated suits at Governor's Bungalow. Speaking on the occasion, the governor said ``the state is back to normalcy with law and order being restored. This s a good sign for the State to make progress.’’ is
After a brief refreshment at Horsely Hills, the Governor will proceed to Tirupati by helicopter from where he will leave for Tiruchanoor for paying obeisance to Goddess Padmavathi Ammavari temple.
As per his tour schedule, the Governor will visit Tirumala hills towards evening to offer prayers at Tirmula Tirupati Devasthanam.
After a night’s rest in Tirumala, the Governor will take part in the morning rituals at Tirumala temple. Later in the day he will attend Annamacharya Vardhanthi programme (death anniversary) at Tirumala.
Before leaving for Hyderabad, Narasimhan will attend the 50th annual convocation of Sri Venkateswara University as a Chancellor of the varsity on Mar 12.
In view of his visit, heavy security arrangements have been made in the district
