Hyderabad, Jan 18: The proposed new railway line between Kadapa and Bangalore via Bangarpet has been realigned and it will run through Mulbagal- Kolar via Bangarpet.The new line is passing nearly 200 km in Andhra Pradesh. The Railways have taken up the work and tender schedule is also ready. An amount of Rs 29 crores for laying of 22 km stretch of railway line has been released by the Railways.
The State Government too has sanctioned a matching amount of Rs 29 crores for this purpose.The new line reduces the distance between Bangalore and Hyderabad and caters to the needs of public travelling between Hyderabad and Bangalore.The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1000 crores.
