The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) on Wednesday took serious view on the death report of Armed Reserve constable, P Muralinath, who died under mysterious circumstances in Gwalior, submitted by the inquiry commission.
Receiving the report submitted by the Police Inquiry Commission headed by Additional Director General of Police A K Khan, the SHRC Chairman Subhashan Reddy expressed displeasure over the report. He said the report has no proper details on circumstances that led to death of a constable and asked the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and DGP to submit a detailed report to the Commission.
Later Subhashan Reddy posted the case for further hearing on August 19.
Muralinath (40), a resident of Lingojiguda in Saroornagar, was sent to New Delhi on July 20 to work as car driver with the family of OCTOPUS (Anti-terrorist force), Additional Director-General Vivek Dube. But he died under mysterious circumstances.
