The writ petition filed by Eenadu Group chairman Ramoji Rao in the Margadarshi Group Case has been dismissed by the Andhra Pradesh high Court on Monday. According to reliable sources it is learnt that Ramoji Rao filed a case in the High court requesting the court to exempt him from attending personally to the cases pending against him in the lower courts.
As earlier reported the Margadarshi Group has violated certain sections of the I-T rules particularly with regard to the exchange of funds within the outfits of the same group. The allegations are that Margadarsi Financiers had diverted some funds to the chit fund company and the amounts released after regular auctions in the chit fund too were converted into deposits in Margadarsi Financiers.
