As per the newly released World Bank reports, Gujarat emerged as Number 1 state in ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in India while Andhra Pradesh is at 2. With 71.14% rating for Gujarat by the World Bank, Andhra Pradesh is given 70.12% rating.
Surprisingly, the new Industrial Policy released by Telangana Government did not find any significant change in its business and development as World Bank kept Telangana as 13th best destination state in India with regards to ease of doing business. Following Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh are Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh emerged as top 5 states.
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu is happy with this ranking and said, ‘Delighted to announce that Andhra Pradesh has been ranked 2nd in India on 'Ease of Doing Business' by World Bank. We are making an impact.’
