Hyderabad,Dec 21: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) spearheading the united Andhra agitation on Monday called upon educational institutions, business establishments and banks to observe bandh on Dec 26 in Coastal and Rayalaseema regions.The JAC which chalked out an agitation plan for the next four days and Mahila rallies for Tuesday told newspersons that it will intensify the agitations across Coastal and Rayalaseema regions seeking an integrated Andhra Pradesh.
As part of agitation, the NGOs will hold pen-down strikes on Wednesday and form human chains across districts on Thursday.Meanwhile,JAC chairman and MLA from Jaggampeta,Thota Narasimham said the agitators would stage a dharna on Tuesday at ONGC refinery at Tatipaka and would lay siege to the Kakinada port on Wednesday.
