Hyderabad, Nov 19: The talks between the unions of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation and the RTC Management have been postponed to Saturday.RTC Managing Director SSP Yadav who held talks with the union leaders of APSRTC at Bus Bhavan here on Thursday said that the talks were held in a cordial atmosphere. No agreement has so far been reached on the issue of wage revision and regularization of contract workers . The management is considering these proposal within the framework of the rules set by the Government.
The MD assured the leaders that as far as possible the management would be liberal in yielding to their demands and appealed to the union leaders to withdraw their strike notice.On the other hand , the union leaders are firm on the aspect of regularization of casual workers, unless this demand is met the strike notice will not be withdrawn, they asserted.The RTC management invited the union leaders for talks in view of their getting ready to serve the strike notice on November 27.
