Lady Boxer from Andhra Pradesh Amaravathi who is into training camp at LB Stadium from last three years is found dead today in her room. The death has been a suspicious one and fingers are pointed towards Coach Omkar who is known to be involved into regular verbal abuse with players very frequently.
Amaravathi lived in a small colony near Banjara Hills and has won many medals in Boxing for the State at Regional, National and International levels. Sports Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy has ordered for a probe and to submit a report even covering the murder angle of investigation.
Dead body has been shifted to Osmania hospital and postmortem is yet to be done. Sate Boxing Association officials are looking into the proceedings and soon Police will investigate the case.
As for the preliminary reports, Amaravathi is suspected to have dead after taking sleeping pills in numerous dosages. Stains of vomits, blood are found all around the room.
