Once again, a worst racist attack on Indian’s in Australia has come to the fore today. It is an unprovoked bashing of a 22 year old boy belonging to Sikh community from India. The name and address of the victim are still not revealed by Police.
Police said they are investigating the case of this 22-year-old Indian youth who was punched in the head and had his turban removed to cut his hair as he slept at a stop near Epping railway station in Cooper Street, Melbourne.
Two of the five youths allegedly bashed the Indian man, while their three other companions along with bus driver are believed to have tried hard to stop, all the five skipped from the spot. This is round about racial attack number thirty on Indians in Australia from June till this day.
Victim suffered injuries on total face along with head with his mouth bleeding, but he doesn’t need any continuous medical attention, said a reporter of “The Age”.
