Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu demanded here on Monday that the state government convene an all party meeting to resolve the problems of junior doctors.
Addressing junior doctors at Gandhi Hospital, whose protest across the state entered sixth day today, Naidu took serious note of the state government‘s indifferent attitude in resolving their demands. He held both Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Health Minister D L Ravindra responsible for the crisis. He lamented that the ongoing agitation of junior doctors had put a large number of people to difficulties.
“The problem has cropped up mainly due to shifting of blame between Chief Minister and Health Minister,” he pointed out and advised them to take concrete measures to solve the problem and not play with the lives of junior doctors.
He appealed to state government to take steps for fulfilling genuine demands of junior doctors as to why it was delaying a decision on increasing stipend for junior doctors.
