Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), few hours ago began simultaneous searches at several places of YS Jaganmohan Reddy in all the cases relating to alleged illegal assets possessed by him and irregularities in Emaar.
Nearly 20 teams began searches at several places in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Visakhapatnam, says a report. CBI secured a search warrant from special court and searches have begun at residences of Jaganmohan Reddy, IAS officer BP Acharya, businessman Nimmagadda Prasad and at the offices of other companies owned by Jagan.
A team of 11 CBI officers are searching the palatial residence of Jagan at Lotus Pond, Banjara Hills and simultaneous search was also on at the residence of Prasad in Sainikpuri and at the residence of Acharya in Mahindra Hills. The CBI officers also launched searches at the offices of Bharati Cement, Sakshi channel. Prasad of Matrix Lab is one of the investors who pumped big money in Jagan's businesses.
