Hyderabad, Sept 19 :
Three Consultancy firms Deloitte India, Grant Thornton India and AXYKno Ltd competed for the Financial Consultancy contract recently floated by Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd.Deloitte India scored the highest points at technical proposal stage and has also become the lowest tenderer with a quote of Rs 37 lakh. Grant Thornton has stood second with a quote of Rs 48 lakh.
A Committee consisting of HMR Managing Director, Mr N V S Reddy, HMWS & SB Managing Director Mr M T Krishna Babu and Finance Secretary Mr T Satyanarayana Rao have selected Deloitte Ltd as the Financial Consultant and Transaction Adviser for the Hyderabad Metro Rail project which was approved by HMR Chairman Dr C V S K Sarma.
The consultancy contract would be in force for one year and Deloitte will assist HMR and GoAP in preparation of bid documents, evaluation of bids, revision of the financial model for the project, selection of concessionaire and in negotiating with financial institutions and other lending agencies for achieving financial closure for the project.
