Hyderabad, Sept 15 : A week after he was admitted in the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (Nims), tainted Satyam founder Ramalinga Raju has underwent angioplasty as he was diagnosed with some blocks in his heart vessels.His cardiologist at Nims Dr D Sheshagiri Rao said that Angiogram was performed on Raju on Saturday. He also need stenting, the doctor said.
Talking to media persons on Tuesday, Dr Rao said that the 54-year-old is stable. Raju is also suffering from a chronic Hepatitis C condition, the treatment for which may start only after his heart condition is stabilised. Raju was admitted to Nims on the evening of September 7 after he suffered a very mild heart attack.angioplasty is the technique of mechanically widening a narrowed or obstructed blood vessel.
