Devotees throng Tirumada streets for Kalpavrusha Vahanam darshan

Devotees thronged the streets of Tirumada to catch a glimpse of the ‘Kalpavrusha Vahanam’ which was taken out in a procession on the fourth day of Sri Vari Navarathri Brahmotsavam.

The devotees had lined up in a large number to have a darshan of the idol of Lord Venkateshwara which was placed on the Kalpavrusha Vanhanam. It is believed that having a darshan of Lord Venkateshwill fulfil all the desires of the people.

The ongoing Dussera holidays have led to the increased presence of devotees to the hill shrine.

Earlier on Sunday evening, the third day of the Sri Vari Navarathri Brahmotsavam Lord Venkateswara appears before his devotees on a vehicle decorated with prices less and resplendent white pearls which spread the message of peace, love and co-existence in the society .

 Special light arrangements besides, public toilets, drinking water, First Aid and Ambulance  are made around the holy four Mada streets  to provide a total eyeful view of the procession of Vahanam. Cultural troupes comprising of dancers from all regions etc precede the Vahanam procession of Lord Venkateswara.

 The TTD has organized special seating arrangements along the four mada streets with fully protected railings for galleries to enable thousands of people to sit and witness the celestial procession which lasted three to four hours in the mornings and evenings of Brahmotsavam every day at Tirumala.
