Jailer lands in title controversy. Rajinikanth's Jailer is the most awaited project among movie lovers. The film directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar is racing for a spectacular release on 10 August 2023. The film's promotions are generating immense interest and in the midst of all this, the film's title resulted in a huge controversy.
Sakkir Madathil Malayalam director speaking to scribes shared that he had registered the title long time back for a project featuring Dhyan Srinivasan in August 2021. He requested the Jailer makers to change the title as it would create confusion.
He said the title launch was held in Dubai and Kamal Haasan also attended the event on 26 June 2023. He said His film commenced production on November 6, 2021, and concluded on December 15 2021.
It has to be seen how the makers of Jailer react to this new twist. The film stars Tamannaah as the female lead with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music.
