Star heroine rejected Balakrishna. Almost all actors show interest in sharing screen presence with Natasimha Balakrishna. They feel that sharing screen presence with Balakrishna enhances their dialogue delivery, body language, and diction. However, it is coming out that once a star heroine rejected Balakrishna outright.
The heroine happens to be yesteryear's heroine Soundarya. Soundarya and Balakrishna acted in a film titled Top Hero under SV.Krishna Reddy's direction. The film failed at the box office. Balakrishna planned Nartanasala with Soundarya as Draupadi but the film got shelved due to the tragic demise of Soundarya.
But inside talk is Balakrishna and Soundarya were supposed to star in another project. That was Chennakesava Reddy. The film which was released amidst huge expectations turned out to be an average grosser. Balakrishna played a dual role and while Tabu was paired for the senior Balakrishna's role, Shriya was paired opposite the younger Balakrishna.
The makers planned to cast Soundarya in Tabu's role. But Soundarya rejected saying she will not do the role of Balakrishna's mother. Soundarya told the same in front of Balakrishna and all the makers are shocked at Soundarya's courage as Balakrishna is known for his temper.
